DENTAL IMPLANTS IN EXETER

background image

With dental implants, we have an effective and permanent method of replacing the teeth our patients have lost. We can provide this entire procedure, including placements of both the titanium implant and the ceramic crown, in our office.

This procedure starts with the placement of the implant—a slender titanium post. It is placed in the location of the missing tooth or in a strong area of bone so it can support a bridge or denture. Once it has bonded well with the bone, then an abutment, a connection between the implant and the crown to be placed later, is added. Finally, the crown is secured to the abutment.

Please talk to us if you are missing teeth to learn how dental implants can provide a highly satisfactory solution.

Implant Bridges and Dentures

When multiple teeth or an entire arch have been lost, implants provide a secure and permanent foundation. In some cases, dental implants can be placed and complete dentures can be attached in a single day. This is called “All-on-4” because four implants are used to support the dentures.

What Patients Are Saying About Us Online

"I have been seeing Dr. Sam for a number of years. This is my second implant and he is the best at what he does. No pain after extraction and no discomfort from the implant. The first implant is inline with rest of my teeth (front) and looks great. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff that assists him are amazing, ready to put you at ease and always a friendly attitude. Highly recommend for all your dental needs."

"For the past few years, I have had a few crowns done by Dr. Sam which went well. Now he has given me one new implant to replace a cracked tooth. The tooth extraction and the implanted surgical fixture were done fairly quickly and painlessly. After the procedure, Dr. Sam recommended that I buy some ibuprofen and acetaminophen in case there might be some discomfort later. Surprisingly, there was no pain later either. I never took any medication. My wife also had the procedure done twice and never needed to take any pain killers afterwards either. I have been very happy with the services provided by this office and especially with how this procedure went."

"I've had several crowns done by Dr. Sam with no issues at all. However, they recently detected a fractured molar under an old crown. I opted for an implant, but I'd never had a tooth extracted.

As it turned out, I was far more nervous than necessary. There was no bleeding, and the next morning one ibuprofin eliminated the minor discomfort. Not a big deal at all. Dr. Sam and Lindsay have a calm bedside manner. Nice work."
